Spanish Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Classic Spanish albóndigas simmered slowly in rich Valencia tomato sauce. Comfort food the Spanish way.
Ingredients
- 1 jar La Roja Tomato Sauce
- 500g ground beef or beef and pork mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Combine meat, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Form into small meatballs.
- Brown in olive oil until golden on all sides.
- Add La Roja Tomato Sauce.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
