Spanish Shakshuka Recipe with Tomato Sauce

Eggs gently poached in rich Spanish tomato sauce with olive oil and paprika. Simple. Bold. Satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar La Roja Tomato Sauce
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Sauté onion and red pepper until soft.
  3. Add La Roja Tomato Sauce and paprika. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Make small wells and crack eggs into sauce.
  5. Cover and cook until whites are set.
  6. Garnish with parsley.

Best Served With

Warm crusty bread to scoop the sauce.
